The stylized metal earth that used to stand in the plaza of the World Trade Center. Battered and torn it survived the collapse of both towers and is now on display in Battery Park.

A sign simultaneously describes it as a "temporary exhibit" and points out the "eternal flame" at its base. I was a bit confused.
