I guess every profession has something like Shoptalk. This is the daily newsletter for folks in TV. Part of it is a daily list of who's gotten new jobs and where they're moving.

The bit at the end is about a thing that's on most of these items on Shoptalk. People's agents are the ones that usually send these in, so they want some free publicity for themselves. You'll often see an item tagged with "So-and-so is represented by So-and-so of lame-o talent dynamics." It's pretty clear I have no professional representation.
